Looking for a dance/EDM/pop-sounding song that I believe came out around 2009. The audio clip I do have is hard to understand but from what I hear is:

Pre-chorus (this part is sung fast)
"forget why, cause it's magic, touch it, how does it feel?"

Chorus (soaring vocals)
Ohhhh, I can feel the shame/chain
I feel so free from us
Now I feel okay

The vocals sound like they could be sung by a man or woman, but I'm leaning towards a deeper female voice.
