I also have this problem....it's nice to know I'm not the only one...I haven't found anything to fix the problem but as soon as I do, I'll post it....I think it's really important that we all just give tips that have helped them and maybe we'll find something that works for ourselves...I normally get the problem when I've been drinking...it never happens during the day...only after dinner...im going to try sleeping more and see if that helps

that cant be true because i get migrains even with strong meds to stop my migrains. But only my left ear is red and my migrains always come from the center are in my head (more towards the right side). But i could feel some heat on my left ear and it didnt bother me much but eventualy my friend pointed out that my ear was red and so i went to the closest mirror and sure enough it was red so naturally i touched it and i could feel the heat. then I touched my right ear and it was cold. But you know what is funny my left ear is hot and red right as I was typing this. :)

I get it and asked my doctor about it; he says it is a form of migraine.

You must get medical attention asap. Call a rheumatologist who is aware of Polychondritis Relaps. Your symptoms need immediate attention.

im not sure but it sounds like you should get a second opinion on the whole migraine thing.Just a thought.good luck!
