Hey there, I get flushed ears sometimes also, and it happens normally in on ear or the other. I gave up trying to figure it out years ago (but I really did find resolve in Tai Chi, centering myself so to speak). Recently, I have been having an idd sensation that only ever occurs in my left ear at the top in exactly the same place (in fact it just happened while typing this), is a feeling like something hot glances my ear like is a match was struck near it. Very strange and I have been looking for similiar symptoms with no luck. Maybe diabetes nerve related or something like that (although I am not diabetic)? Anyone?
Ok, so this is super spooky. Since writing about this on this blog, the sensations have become more frequent (still could be under the realm of imagination), but, I actually wrote it down on a piece of paper, and, it started happening every couple of minutes. I really, really was hoping this wouldn't turn out to be 'weird', but what is going on? Frankly, I think it is time to talk to a doctor about this, whatever it actually is, because it is starting to cause me emotional distress. I hope this never happens to another person because I know how difficult it is to try and deal with this yourself (forget about trying to explain it to others). Help!
I think PTSD might be manifesting itself from deep down below (i.e., subconsciousness). If so, I have no idea what I am dealing (or taking advantage of).
Leo, update. I think after re-reading my post, it was important for me to acknowledge something that happened to my body I couldn’t explain, and that seemed abnormal at the time. This drove a potentially delusional aspect to my condition which could have attached any number of pyschosis to something that is just my bodies natural way of releasing stress. If you think about it, ear flushing feels almost like a decompression of stress and anxiety. This I accept and believe and has helped me and my “decompression” has become almost relaxing as I know my body and mind is at ease.

This is Leo, only my imagination. The more I thought about it the more I realized it was all in my imagination. Nothing more than imagination.
