An EDM song with a female singer. Parts of the lyrics I only remember: "I [something something something something something something] hot / when the temperature rises, that's 'cause you're not(?)" and a repeat of "too hot, too hot, too hot, too hot." I'm losing my mind trying to search this song up.

Can anyone help with this song title, singer, or group, please? It's by a young American (I think) female singer or group, and it feels like a reasonably recent song that's very catchy in parts and a bit teenage-angsty. Lyrics are roughly "I can't keep my feet upon the ground" and "I wanna be ... and I wanna be pretty..."

I had a song downloaded onto my old Samsung phone around 2018 or 2019, and it was in the lo-fi genre, but it got deleted from YouTube. The cover had a girl crying; it was a GIF for the whole video. It was kind of rap, and it was two guys, I believe. I don't remember the name of the song; it was "Goodbyes" or something. I've been looking for it for literally years. The lyrics I remember are "I was never fond of goodbyes; you said you love me even if you didn't mean it" and "I thought you'd be my light of day."

Okay so here’s the problem, I don’t know the song or lyrics but
I do know it had something to do with a contract/deal with someone to become famous with riches as well but turned dark as it backfired
I know it had something to do with a stage as well
And that it was either K-pop or Japanese

Let's put some music on some half forgotten melody
The kind that takes you back and helps revive a memory
Let's put some music on and reminisce the night away
If you'll give me your hand then I will give you yesterday

Play it again ( my love)
Play it again
We've not been there since then
Play it again

Let's put some music on and bring the good times up to date
We missed a song or two but it was nice of love to wait
Let's put some music on sweet music that we heard before
Your smile tells me that they don't write them like that anymore

Play it again ( my love)
Play it again
We've not been there since then
Play it again

I need help finding a sad-sounding song. I can't think of it, but it sounds like "I know that you're here, so why don't you just stay here." It sounds early-2000s, sung by a male, with very little instrumental sounds in it.

Cedrick Lunar

Okay, I may not be any help but here it goes. When I was a kid my parents used to play 103.9 (in north MS). There was this popular song that used to get played all the time. This was around 2005-2013 to be safe (but really probably 2008-2010). I remember it having a similar sound of john mayer, maroon 5, train, the fray and maybe even lady antebellum? it may have been country, indie, or alternative. i was pretty young and it was a while ago so i cant exactly pinpoint the genre. the song was guitar heavy but not acoustic. i cannot for the life of me remember any of the lyrics but i do remember it was a male singing and the song being about a girl, drinking ¿wine maybe?, ¿cursing god for getting hungover or something?, i remember him mentioning the day thursday and probably mentioning other days of the week as well? it is one of those things where you know you will recognize the song if you hear it. i have spent years trying to find it on 2000s spotify playlists people have made with no luck. i know i am not much help but if any of this rings a bell please feel free to respond.

I'm looking for a song about a toxic relationship where the girl sings about giving her eye so he could eat it. I don't remember much, but it mentioned some sort of cannibalism as a toxic love metaphor, giving her heart, eye, etc. It's an indie pop song, I think.

Sofia Macias

I'm looking for a song from the 2000s; I think it was rock. (Maybe punk/grunge?) I know it had a male vocal in a band. Went like:

"When you look up to the electric sky
Twisters start to multiply
The wish you had next to you went away
Can you feel my fever multiply..." (Last two lines are probably misheard since I don't remember)

From the pilot to the WB show "Summerland".

David Nehring

Hi all -- looking for a song. 1970s-ish. I feel like it was Stephen Stills of CSN: "In the shaaaaadow... of a losing hand... lucid hand?" Then it had a long chorus of "baaah baaah b'bah b'bah ba-ba-ba." Driving me nuts -- I can hear it but can't find it.

Looking for a song I heard back in the early 2000's / 2010's.

It was a male singer.
It was kinda like a rock-song?
I only remember parts of the lyrics.
"don't you see
we really need each other
you and meeee
what I want foreeeeveeeeer"

Thx for yalls time.

I'm looking for a song that begins:

"The sky is overcast
The wind has no direction
This heat can't last
And the day hit 99 degrees"

Shazam did not recognize it, and searches on the lyrics have not been productive. It is a ballad sung by a male, and the title may be something like "99 degrees", as that line repeats in the song.

I'm looking for the song about (as I recall it) a girl (possibly called Mary/Martha 🤷‍♀️) who cared for her father (who liked to drink... possibly a reference to whiskey). Her life was on hold, for all intents and purposes, whilst her sister's wasn't. However, at the end of the song she breaks away and goes off on her travels, leaving her 'downtrodden' life behind...

Tyesha Green

I've been trying to look for this song for so long... It's an older song, maybe around 2005-2012. It sounds like an R&B song, lower tempo. It was on the radio in Arkansas around Christmas or whenever, lol.
"If you let me be your candy man, I'm gonna take, take you to my sweet candy land."
"Now or later, can I give it to you? Now or later? I have a special treat for you. I got a bag full of sweets."

I'm trying to look for a song that has lyrics in it that go "I'm a wolf gang killa". I believe it was between the '90s and 2000s. We didn't have any apps to identify music back then, lol. I think it was in the hip-hop or rap genre.

Neves

This made me think of the song "In da wind" by Trick Daddy. Except the lyrics in that says "but you ain't no killa".

Hi ! I've been searching for a while now a song I heard in 2023. Sounds like Daft Punk (tho it ain't them) and the lyrics I understood are "swimming/cooking the fish/watch it swim"

I would surely appreciate it if I could get some help, please, with finding a song, if at all possible. I know it's a rap song, but I'm not really sure how old it is exactly; I'm guessing about 7 years or so. I know part of the lyrics: 'All I wanna do is ------ and blow O's, 'cause you know, baby, you know how it goes. You make it look so easy.' The beginning where the ---- are is the part of the lyric I've forgotten. Thanks to everyone who may be able to assist, because I've been searching for this for the last couple of years on all platforms with no luck.

Hi,

I remember a song from about 15-plus years ago, something like: "It looks hard, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm afraid I may fail; others have done it." Something like that. The band was younger guys. I thought it was Barenaked Ladies, but I couldn't find anything; it's a band like them.

Thank you.

Julie laura

Girl it's so cold out but step in here with you it's so warm...da daaa , da da da danaaa

It was male singer from a popular punk/pop band played on the radio. It wasn't fall out boy or panic at the disco but like those types of punk-pop popular bands

Clive Vedmore

It's a long-shot but I hope somebody can help me here.

What are these three songs?

They all came out about 7 years ago and I only know some of the lyrics.

Song 1 - Female singer who could be Irish. Slow, electronic sound(i.e it doesn't feature any conventional old instruments like guitars, drums, pianos etc).

The lyrics go something like:

...and all the places that we've always been and all the things that we have always seen and all the secrets that we have, laid down in a jukebox, baby and all the dreams that we have always dreamed, they're all gone in a jukebox, baby, jukebox, baby, jukebox baby, ooh you're my jukebox baby. You got me feeling so low.

Song 2 - Female singer. Fast, electronic. The first line is the start of the first verse and the second line is the start of the chorus:

Why do we treat each other like robots, every move automated?

I wanna make you feel something, feel something, turn that metal into flesh and blood.

Song 3 - It's a female singer singing an electronic song.

Part of one of the verses goes "Cigarette burns on the floor" "Hiding by the lakes is what we live for".
The chorus was harder to make out. I think it went something like "Summers come by, summers come fast".

Devine Everett Little

I heard a song on Velvet smooth R&B and cannot find the artist or the song. It starts, I don't need the world tonight, just your quiet smile. Your eyes say it all, peace without the noise. Some love speaks without sound. I don't need the world tonight just your quiet smile.
It's a beautiful slow love song.
