The dashes represent small stops between the lyrics. I don't know how to describe it; these lyrics probably aren't right, but I believe the "sawwwwww her" part is right.
I definitely know this song. I don't think it's anything very unknown. The last time I heard it was a year ago in the mall, and I couldn't Shazam it, and I've been going insane for the past year.
The singer is singing in a way that's kind of dark. I don't know how to describe it very well.
