I’ve been singing the chorus to my kids EVERY time we go up an escalator since they were born. Luckily for their sanity, we live on an island that doesn’t have any!
I'm looking for it too! 'Up and down the escalators, in and out the elevators, round and round that's how we play the paper chase.' I think it must be called Paper Chase and it was sung by Design on an ITV show called South Bank Summer in 1970. But I have no idea who recorded it first.
