There is an R&B song from like the early 2000s up to no later than 2007 ish, I think. It’s by a black female artist that never made it too big. The song opens with these water droplet sounds, but that’s about all I can remember. It does this fade in type of thing where the droplet sound increases each second (a crescendo). I cannot remember any of the lyrics at all, but I know if I saw the artists name and/or song title, I would be like, oh yeah that’s it!

I also want to say that her song came out a little bit before Latoya Luckett’s song “Torn” came out. Or maybe around the same time? Anyway, Latoya’s Torn song almost has a similar vibe to the song I’m thinking of.

But yeah, I hope all of that was helpful in finding someone to help me figure out this song! LOL
