Convincing posts narrow it down to Orgegon, Missouri, and Connecticut in my opinion. Can someone tell me if there are snow-crested mountains in Missouri or Connecticut? There are many episodes with hilly/mountainous terrain. Also of the three states can anyone tell me which has the death penalty?

In season 8 Springfield was hit by a hurricane, so probably not Missouri.
