Heaven

Heaven opened up and dropped me. Always knew it wouldnt be so easy. Never had to move with way just reacting to every word you say. My halos tarnished, my wings are burnt, another lesson I refused to learn. I had to build this up, so I could really feel the fall.
Heaven doesnt want me. Shes the only one it sees. In heaven its raining and this angel wont sing.
I dont know who Ill become. My wings couldnt spread for anyone. Now I need that serenity. A little piece to wash right over me. Heaven is all I see in you. A paradise I held on to. Its every time I didnt follow through. Its everything but all I need is you.
